FACTIONS

Canidae hosts three different factions of Canine which including the wolf ancestors known as the Natives, the mixed breeds of Domestic Dogs and Wolves known as Hybrids and the evolved class of canine known as Domestics. Each have their own unique characteristics and their survival rates vary upon not only mentality but physical traits as well.

NATIVES
Natives are the ancestral Canids who have inhabited the world of Canidae since time can remember. They are considered pure in blood and do not believe in mixing with the other Factions. Natives have served as the teachers to the other two factions since the time the first Domestic was discovered in the Eastern Provinces. Natives found the Domestic Faction fascinating and learned that the differences of the Domestics brought forth opportunity to learn how they came to be and learn how they survives the harsh climates without thick furs and ability to bring down larger prey like that of their Ancestors. The Leader of the wolves at the time chose to use the Domestics in a way not quite what history or fate might have foretold. Tainting the purity of the Wolves he chose, the Leader of the wolf pack chose to breed and create what was later known as Hybrids, breeds with unique characteristics. Like that of the wolf, they hunted and weathered Survival while their Domestic counterparts led them to be softer than their feral counterparts. The Leader banished the Hybrids, keeping only those who served a purpose. Native history forgot about the Hybrids and has since declared Domestics their enemy.

HYBRIDS
Created by the blood of Domestics and Natives, Hybrids contained a mix of characteristics that leave them fit for survival or weak till death without proper training. Banished from the lands they called home, the Hybrids established their territory in the Western Provinces of Canidae. Unlike their Wolf ancestors, Hybrids were capable of adapting to harsher climates. Not all were lucky, but their numbers grew and news traveled quickly that the Leader of the Hybrids commanded an army of Canids twice that of the Natives. Hybrids established a heirarchy though their feral instincts seemed dull and the Leader made it known that any were allowed to seek refuge in the West when they needed it. History explains that the Hybrids aid the Domestics in supplies and numbers again the Natives, wondering when the Leader of the Natives would fall and there would be peace.

DOMESTICS
Domestics live in smaller groups, keeping to their own species before the discovery of the Natives brought them together as a union. Domestics came from the South Provinces, their forces smallest of the three Factions, their Species young. When the Leader of the Natives came upon the first group of Domestics, he believed them to be matated wolves, rejects of his own kind. Domestics showed a new light in their abilities to move more quickly and taught the wolves how to hunt and discover small mammals as opposed to the larger prey they hunted in the West. That was why Domestics were brought to the West, to breed those characteristics and to see what good would come from the mixed breeds. Alas, the Domestics were betrayed and their unique characteristics shunned when the result didn't please the Native Leader. Banished and forbidden to return to their land in the South, the Domestics were forced to flee to the Northern Provinces. The Leader of the Hybrids learned of the misfortune and sends help when they can, though none of their messengers have returned.
